Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani will make his spring training launching on Tuesday versus the Chicago White Sox.

Ohtani, who went through season-ending Tommy John surgical treatment on his best elbow in September, will be the designated player for Los Angeles on Tuesday at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona– the center the Dodgers show the White Sox.
The video game will be Ohtani’s very first look as a Dodger considering that signing a 10-year, $700 million handle the offseason.
In his last season with the Los Angeles Angels in 2023, Ohtani struck.304, notching 151 hits, 44 crowning achievement and 95 RBI in 135 video games. On the mound, he tape-recorded a 3.14 ERA and got 167 strikeouts throughout 132 innings.
While Ohtani will not pitch this season as he recuperates from Tommy John, he’s aiming to assist Los Angeles with his powerful offense.
Dodgers supervisor Dave Roberts got to view Ohtani take some swings Sunday.
“He took 3 at-bats, and he looked great,” Roberts informed press reporters. “I believed today was a great day for Shohei.”
Ohtani signed up with the Dodgers after a bidding war amongst numerous groups, eventually taking the historical handle Los Angeles. His arrival brought terrific anticipation from fans, and now, they will get to see the super star playing his very first spring training video game for their group.
