Costain moving into the Can of Ham

Costain’s brand-new head offices will be at 70 St Mary Axe, informally referred to as the Can of Ham, the building of which finished in 2019.

Costain will take the 7th flooring of 70 St Mary Axe, a floorspace of 17,181 sq feet, as it increases its existence in the capital. The relocation is anticipated to finish in the 2nd half of 2024.

The brand-new workplace will have area for around 125 desk.

Costain currently has a London workplace, in Foster Lane, simply round the corner from St Paul’s, however there is area for just 30 or two personnel there.

As part of the relocation, Costain– which was initially based in Liverpool before moving south in the 1920s– will abandon both its Foster Lane workplace and its Maidenhead head office (because 2007) at Vanwall Business Park. The business stated that it will keep an existence in Maidenhead for workers based there and is settling an ideal area.
