The main site for the tv anime of Chisato Abe’s Karasu wa Aruji o Erabanai (The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master) unique, the 2nd book of her Yatagarasu unique series, exposed the anime’s ending signature tune “Tokoshie” (Eternity) by Akiko Shikata on Sunday. According to Shikata, she composed the tune particularly for the anime after checking out the initial book and having a series of interaction exchanges with Abe. Shikata included that she was impressed with the book’s deep worldview, in-depth settings, and special characters.
The anime will premiere on NHK on April 6 at 11:45 p.m. JST (10:45 a.m. EDT).

Yoshiaki Kyougoku (Laid-Back Camp initially 2 seasons and movie) is directing the series at Studio Pierrot, and Yukiko Yamamuro (Touch (live-action motion picture)is managing the series scripts. Takumo Norita (Lagrange – The Flower of Rin-ne, Broken Blade) is creating the characters, Eishi Segawa (Ushio & & Tora both seasons, Gintama (live-action motion picture)is making up the music, and Yuji Tange is the sound director. NHK, NHK Enterprises, and Pierrot are producing the anime. Rock band Saucy Dog will carry out the opening signature tune “poi.”
The books center on the world of the yatagarasu (the Japanese name for a version of legendary god-crows that appear in East Asian folk folklores). The yatagarasu have the ability to form shift in between human and crow types, and reside in the world of Yamauchi, a parallel world produced by the yatagarasu god Yamagami. Within Yamauchi, the yatagarasu reside in a society stimulating Heian-era Japan, and the parallel world stays linked to our human world.
