Max Holloway sounds off on his critics ahead of UFC 300: “I’m ill and fed up with everyone informing me what I got ta believe”

Max Holloway has actually sounded off on his critics ahead of his UFC 300 match with Justin Gaethje.

The historical UFC 300 will happen on Saturday, April 13th at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

The primary card will see Max Holloway (25-7 MMA) taking on Justin Gaethje (25-4 MMA) in a light-weight bout with the BMF champion on the line.

Gaethje won the BMF title by knocking out Dustin Poirier at UFC 291 last July.

Well obviously, Holloway is being considered the underdog, mentioning what took place back in 2019 with his interim title consentaneous choice loss to Dustin Poirier (30-8 MMA).

Max Holloway, speaking on his YouTube channel stated:

“Everybody continues raising the battle with Poirier, the 155 battle. It is what it is, I stated what I stated. No reasons. I simply had 6 weeks for that camp. This came, we had 10 or more weeks. I can’t even– I do not even keep in mind the length of time we had, that’s the length of time we had. At the end of the day, I feel strong. I feel terrific. I can’t wait to head out there and show (it).”

Continuing, the 32-year-old stated (h/t MMAFighting):

“You guys wish to see the distinction? Tune in April 13. You’re gon na see the distinction.”

Discussing weights within the departments, Max Holloway stated:

“I see the minds blown, being, ‘Oh, yeah, Max’s talking like this, weighing to heavyweight, Francis Ngannou, ask him to eliminate him. Bring it on, bro. Believe I care? That’s why me and you guys are various. This is why a great deal of fighters is cut from a various fabric. Even some fighters is stressed over specific weights. Why?”

“If you’re on the pound-for-pound list, you need to want to eliminate anyone. That’s what the pound-for-pound list is for? Ain’t that what the pound-for-pound list is for? I believed the pound-for-pound list was of not simply their weight class. If you’re in a weight class, you’re No. 1 in your weight class. You’re a champ in your weight class, I suggest. If you’re on the pound-for-pound list, that suggests pound-for-pound where you stand among these other pound-for-pound guys.”

Concluding, ‘Blessed’ stated:

“I’m ill and fed up with everyone informing me what I got ta believe, how I do, putting a limitation on me. Even if you put a limitation on yourself, do not put a limitation on others. You guys’ limitation is sky, I’m grabbing the star, other universes. We’re not the very same.”

Are you anticipating UFC 300? Do you believe Max Holloway can beat Justin Gaethje to end up being the brand-new BMF champ?
