LAS VEGAS– Viacheslav Borshchev will not grumble about the outcome of his UFC 295 Fight of the Night with Nazim Sadykhov.
Borshchev (7-3-1 MMA, 2-2-1 UFC) and Sadykhov (9-1-1 MMA, 2-0-1 UFC) placed on a light-weight triller at Madison Square Garden in New York that ended in a bulk draw. Both guys took some tough knocks in the battle, and in the end, the judges might not choose a winner.
Most of the damage taken was on Borshchev’s side. He was severely harmed and almost stopped with strikes in the 2nd round, however handled to make it through and return and declare the last frame to conclude MMA Junkie’s Fight of the Month for November.
“I felt fantastic after the battle was over,” Borshchev informed MMA Junkie. “I seemed like I was winning and would’ve had ball games, however I was practically eliminated in the 2nd round. I do not believe I’ve ever been that near being ended up. That’s why I enjoyed with the draw.”
Regardless of the absence of a winner in the battle, Borshchev confesses he’s not eager to discover resolution with Sadykhov. He would be open to a rematch down the line, however believes a lot of other challengers at 155 pounds make good sense, too.
“There’s no factor for this (rematch). We’re here due to the fact that we wish to earn money. There’s no other way I’m going to battle this beast once again. You ‘d need to pay truly well to eliminate this guy. It needs to be something like a title battle or a centerpiece. There’s no factor (for a rematch). We both need to get greater.”
