Roberson took a seat for an interview with 107.5’s radio host, KeKe. The on-air character stated, “I did not understand that ‘Promise’ by Jagged Edge was discussed you.”

“Yes, it was,” Latavia stated with a laugh.

“That’s one of the very best love tunes worldwide,” Keke stated.

The Houston, Texas native agreed.

The Origin Story of Jagged Edge’s ‘Promise’

“What’s tea?” the host asked.

Roberson remembered an occurrence in which DC member LeToya Luckett and her mommy were presumably being shaken off of the trip bus. Rugged Edge, that included her then-boyfriend, Brandon, consequently defended them. LaTavia was separated from him after the event.

“So, we up in the lobby and I’m sobbing. My mommy took my mobile phone, and I could not talk with Brandon or anything,” LaTavia described.

LeToya telephoned her granny’s home. “Giiiirl!! He composed a tune about you, giiiirl!!” Roberson stated enthusiastically, remembering the minute.

The vocalist confessed, “That was my puppy love.”

The set dated for 10 years.
