AUSTIN PETERSEN: The Trump trial witnesses do not pass the laugh test

Trump’s hush cash trial was constantly going to be a political dumpster fire, however when a male willingly lit himself up like a torch outside the courtroom recently, it was a fitting homage to what the city of New York is attempting to do to 45 involuntarily. The protestor, a previous Democrat project staffer, dropped a conspiracy-laden manifesto before he illuminated, filled with claims almost as ridiculous as the Clinton’s Steele Dossier, amongst them that Charles Manson was framed for the murder of Sharon Tate in order to make individuals scared of hippies. And as if to make things even funnier, the protester had actually published a photo of himself with Bill Clinton on LinkedIn a couple of years ago where he composed “we’ve got a secret fascism issue.”

Oh honey boo … it’s clear. It’s rather transparent. Who requires a secret Illuminati plot to highlight conspiracies versus individuals when you’ve got the typical Tuesday as a Republican in New York’s criminal justice system?

While the fire was starting to pass away down outside the courtroom, the sluggish kindling of stupidity had actually started to smolder. Jury choice exposed a foreseeable parade of horribles: leftists in NYC like one brainlet who a minimum of confessed he could not be neutral due to the fact that he “matured in Texas” and operated in financing around individuals who “intellectually tend to incline Republican.” Seems like a swell guy.

Herson Cabreras included fuel to the fire calling Judge Merchant afraid when he was summarily dismissed after at first being empaneled. Cabreras was dismissed after district attorneys raised the reality that he had actually been implicated of taking down Republican check in a New York residential area back in 1991, and raged he didn’t get to continue his political advocacy in the court, stating “I didn’t anticipate they were going to enter into my history of 30 years and take out something I didn’t even keep in mind.” He included, “I simply believed it was a reason” to get him off the jury.

Gee, you believe?

And now, the full-on firestorm. The appropriately called King of Fake News– David Pecker (yes, actually) of the National Enquirer — was generated to tar Trump with claims that he accepted not run unfavorable stories on the previous president. Why is Pecker affirming in a trial that is focused around what may at worst be an accounting mistake? Who understands. This is New York, after all, where justice is politics and tabloid smear merchants are thought about trustworthy witnesses when it serves Democratic ends. Not to destroy their enjoyable, however can we keep in mind that Pecker has no difficult proof for his claims that Trump informed him to ‘capture’ or ‘eliminate’ unfavorable stories? We are to take the head of the National Enquirer at his word. Forgive me, however I’m more of a Weekly World News guy. State what you desire about Bat Boy, however he ‘d be a more reputable witness than David Pecker.
