John Legend Says Wife Chrissy Teigen Wound Up in Neck Brace After ‘Trying to Be An Acrobat’

Chrissy Teigen suffered her current injury by taking a page out of her child Luna’s book, according to spouse John Legend.
“She harmed her neck attempting to be, like, an acrobat, which she’s not,” Legend, 45, informed Home entertainment Tonight in an interview released on Monday, May 13. “Sometimes she’s bold and she’ll attempt things.”
Legend went on to joke that Teigen, 38, “might have been enjoying Luna excessive,” including,”[Luna has] been doing, like, genuine gymnastics. [Chrissy] got in her head that she might attempt this, and it was not a great concept.” (The couple, who wed in 2013, share kids Luna, 8, Miles, 5, Esti, 16 months, and Wren, 11 months.)
Thankfully, Teigen’s injury wasn’t a major one, as Legend informed the outlet that Teigen is doing “far better now.”
Teigen exposed her injury through social networks recently by sharing pictures and videos of herself sporting a neck brace. “Oh, my God. I’m great. Everyone’s connecting. I’m okay,” she mentioned in a May 6 Instagram Story video. “It’s a CVS neckband and I simply can’t turn my neck due to the fact that I attempted to do a headstand and it didn’t work out. Which’s all. There’s no story, I guarantee.”
She strolled the red carpet sans neck brace in a naked large gown with flower decals at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards in New York City on May 7, throughout which she exposed she didn’t get a Met Gala (which was on May 6) welcome this year.

While on phase to provide the Design Innovator Award to Cult Gaia’s Jasmin Larian Hekmat, she exposed that would have used the ensemble she was sporting to the Met Gala if she participated in. The gown’ flower styles would have fit with the Met Costume Institute’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibition and the night’s “Garden of Time” gown code.
