Before leaping from high school directly to the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James as soon as imagined playing in college for a set of groups that may be unexpected to some.

Throughout today’s episode of the Mind the Game podcast, James exposed to J.J. Reddick that he was enthralled with Cincinnati as a child and had a desire to bet previous Bearcats head coach Bob Huggins. He then moved his loyalty to North Carolina.

“When I was maturing, I wished to go to Cincinnati due to the fact that of the uniforms and since of Huggs,” James stated around the 14:30 mark. “And then I got a little older and I wished to go to North Carolina due to the fact that of the uniforms and since of Ed Cota and his capability to pass the ball, I resembled, ‘Oh, that’s ridiculous.'”

When asked if he ever wished to go to Duke, James responded, “F– k no, male. F– k no, I never ever wished to go to Duke. I currently informed you this.”

The 39-year-old’s response was rather unexpected, particularly thinking about that he prospered while being coached by the famous Mike Krzyzewski when he was the Team USA head coach. James included a caution to his response, later on including, “Now, yes. Now that I understand Coach K is my f– king guy, definitely.”

It’s reasonable to presume that James would’ve had a remarkable college profession even if he was a one-and-done gamer. He went on to turn into one of the best gamers in NBA history, so he plainly has no remorses about avoiding college.
