April 3 (UPI)– A California authorities department stated a bomb team needed to be summoned to its front lobby when a homeowner appeared with a box consisting of 3 grenades that ended up being live.
The Pleasanton Police Department stated on social networks that a resident checked out the front lobby at cops head office to turn over 3 grenades he discovered in his garage and presumed were inert.
“Unbeknownst to him, the grenades were live,” the post stated.
The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office’s Bomb Squad was summoned to the station and hauled the grenades off to be damaged.
It was unclear how the dynamites happened kept in the local’s garage.
Authorities advised anybody who makes a comparable discovery not to just bring dynamites to the police headquarters.
“If you discover any possibly harmful dynamites, please do not touch them,” the post stated.
