A collection of 5 Phoenix Wright video games – consisting of a few of the best visual books of perpetuity, in my viewpoint – will be ceased on Steam, making it a little less practical to get the initial Ace Attorney trilogy and its current prequel video games. That’s the problem. The bright side is you’ve got a month’s notification – and it’s on sale for the next week approximately.

So we’re clear here, it’s the Ace Attorney Turnabout Collection package of 2 video games – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles – that’s being removed Steam, not the specific video games themselves. Put down that pitchfork formed like the attorney’s immaculately spiked hairstyle, would you.

Still, losing a convenient package of the very first 3 video games in the Ace Attorney series – which definitely hold up in their HD re-release, as somebody who reviews them routinely – and the current Great Ace Attorney Chronicles prequels back embeded in the 19th century – following Wright’s forefather Ryunosuke as he faces bumbling investigator Herlock Sholmes – is a pity, particularly as both video games are well worth playing.

Capcom didn’t provide a factor regarding why they’ve chosen to yoink the package from sale, merely revealing that the double-pack will be stopped since May 31st. (Cheers for the area, Eurogamer.) Once again, the video games will stay for sale individually and you’ll still have the ability to play them, you simply can’t get them together for an offer.

That’s since completion of May, anyhow. In the meantime, you can still go get the Ace Attorney Turnabout Collection if you do not own either video game currently. Easily, the package is presently on sale for Japan’s Golden Week, bringing it down to ₤ 13. (For contrast: purchasing the 2 video games separately costs around ₤ 10 more, even on sale.)

While this year’s Apollo Justice trilogy – following straight on from the Ace Attorney trilogy – hasn’t been cut in cost, series developer Shu Takumi’s work of art Ghost Trick is likewise marked down – you need to definitely play that too.
